Travel while you’re young~

The saying of travel while you’re young cannot be true enough. Recently I went to Zanjiajie for three day straight mountain climbing, and it was super tiring, only a young body and mind may endure this hardcore outdoor activity. The climb was full of endless stairs and also accompanied by some vicious mosquitoes along the way. Even if my body is up for the challenge when I grow old, my mind would not be, I would easily have decided to skip the hike if I was an old man. Of course there is easier route to go up the mountain by taking the cable car but that defeats the whole purpose of mountain climbing and the view along the way would be different as well. But is it really worth it to go through the painstaking hike and get a bunch of mosquito bites? That depends on if you love mountain climbing. All and all, one can have different experience traveling at different ages, the older you get the more limited of your experience. Traveling while young allows you the whole experience and more options. Oftentimes people have the mentality of saving enough money before they go travel or maybe after retirement. That would be like saving sex for old age. Traveling actually does not require a big sum of fund depending on where you go and how you spend the money. Of course you’ve heard some backpackers that travel the world with the bare minimum funds. Hostels cost a lot less and one can easily pick some Asian countries with lower cost of living to start off the world exploration. The older you get the more responsibility you have, and once you have a wife and kid it’ll be more difficult to travel too. Wait no more and no more excuses, book that plane ticket and go explore the world.
